-Fold blank paper and staple or tie with yarn to form a book.
-Have your child title the book and write their name as the author.
-Write sentences and have your child complete it.

Examples of what to include:
-My name is _________________ (first and last name).
-Sometimes my family calls me _________________ (nickname).
-I am a _________________ (boy or girl).
-I was born on _______________  and I am __________ years old.
-My eyes are ______________ (color) and my hair is ______________ (color).
-This is my mother.  Her name is ________________ (first and last name). She makes good spaghetti.
-This is my grandfather.  He lives with us.  His name is _________________.
-I live in  ___________ (city/state).  My address is _______________________.
-My favorite (whatever) is __________________.
